Новий Samsung Galaxy S21 FE уособлює все, що багато хто хотів би бачити у сучасному смартфоні флагманського рівня. Але він вийшов надто пізно, а ціна його надто висока. Чи ні?

Торішній Galaxy S20 FE вийшов восени — приблизно через півроку після старту продажів флагманської лінійки Galaxy S20 і став справжнім хітом продажів. У світі було продано більше ніж 10 млн екземплярів.

Чому б не повторити цей успіх, подумали у Samsung.

Рецепт майже безпрограшний. Берете наймолодшу актуальну модель флагманської лінійки, освіжаєте її дизайн, ставите привабливу ціну і вуаля — продажі злітають до небес.

Але все виявилося не так просто.

Galaxy S21 FE вийшов у січні, коли всі шанувальники Samsung вже сидять на краєчку стільця в очікуванні лінійки Galaxy S22. Та ще й коштує він чималі 22−23 тис. грн.

Багато фанатів, м’яко кажучи, здивувалися. А багато оглядачів одразу пророкували Galaxy S21 FE тотальний провал. Часто навіть не потримавши новий смартфон у руках.

Тому перш ніж поділитися враженнями від двох тижнів використання по суті чудового смартфона, хотілося б поговорити про ситуацію загалом. Тільки так оцінка новинки може бути справді виваженою.

В який час виходить Galaxy S21 FE

Компанія зберігає лідерство на світовому ринку (за продажем у штучному обчисленні), але це досить примарне лідерство. Якщо підсумувати бренди, що входять до китайського холдингу BBK ( OPPO, Vivo, OnePlus, Realme), то Samsung вже втратив лідерство і тепер посідає друге місце у світі. З точки зору зростання продажів, компанія також виглядає блідо на тлі динамічної Xiaomi і Apple, у якої після кількох порівняно прохідних поколінь пішли справжні успіхи з лінійками iPhone 12 і iPhone 13.

Ну, а з погляду прибутку на ринку перевага Samsung над Apple у кількісному обчисленні взагалі сумнівна, адже Apple у 2021 році забрала собі 75% усіх грошей на ринку. За даними Counterpoint, це на 62% більше, ніж отримала Samsung.

У Samsung, звісно, є успіхи зі складаними смартфонами, тут компанія відверто домінує на ринку з часткою близько 80%.

Але сам собою ринок смартфонів із гнучкими екранами поки що дуже вузький, на глобальну ситуацію він мало впливає.

Продажі флагманів серії Galaxy S21 виявилися скромними. Було продано лише близько 20−25 млн смартфонів, у той час як у колишні роки флагманська лінійка забезпечувала Samsung продажі на рівні не менше ніж 35−40 млн.

На цьому тлі запуск такого хіта, яким був у 2020-му Galaxy S20 FE, міг би стати вдалим рішенням.

Але цей смартфон чомусь не з’явився восени 2021 року. Натомість, Samsung явила його світові в січні 2022-го — всього за кілька тижнів до запланованої презентації нової флагманської лінійки Galaxy S22.

Тобто. враховуючи інерційність розгортання продажів у каналах і різних маркетингових меседжів, Galaxy S21 FE ( представник минулого покоління) буде у фокусі уваги якраз у момент, коли на полиці прибудуть апарати наступного покоління.

Навіщо це потрібно? Компанії витрачають так багато сил на закарбовування у мозок споживача самого факту, що цифри у назві моделі щось означають. Samsung навіть змінила логіку назви своїх флагманів за поколіннями ( раніше були просто Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6 тощо) на асоціації з роком випуску ( Galaxy S20 у 2020-му, Galaxy S21 у 2021-му ).

Доступний « молодший флагман», який має стати хітом продажів, виходить із маркуванням S21 у назві… вже у 2022 році і буквально зовсім перед запуском лінійки S22.

Ба більше, він ще й коштує 22−23 тис. грн. залежно від версії.

Це при тому, що у продажу є ще досить помітні обсяги базового Galaxy S21, який має низку переваг перед новинкою ( докладніше про це нижче) і коштує або стільки ж, або дешевше ( у середньому — близько 18−19 тис. грн). А ще у продажу є дуже успішний попередній Galaxy S20 FE ( за нього просять приблизно такі ж гроші). А доплативши всього 1 тис. грн, можна взагалі купити відмінний Galaxy S21 Plus.

Якщо подивитися на ситуацію під таким кутом, то Galaxy S21 FE можна відразу оголосити безглуздою і нещадною помилкою маркетологів. І сказати, що з урахуванням поточної ситуації такий смартфон у продуктовій лінійці Samsung просто не потрібен.

Давайте поговоримо про те, який Galaxy S21 FE насправді. І чи має він плюси, які можуть привернути до нього аудиторію.

Galaxy S21 FE — враження після двох тижнів користування

Galaxy S21 FE виглядає майже як звичайний Galaxy S21. Матова задня кришка, блок основної камери з виступом — все звичне.

Але просто з цього місця починаються компроміси. Задня кришка зроблена з пластику, і вона не така вже матова, як хотілося б. У тому сенсі, що відбитки пальців на ній досить помітні.

А ще блок камер, який у флагманській серії ніби «перетікав» в основну рамку корпусу, у Galaxy S21 FE цього не робить. І просто «с тирчить» зі спинки. стилістично новинка вирізняється від флагманської серії. І, щиро кажучи, виглядає простіше.

Утім, враховуючи тотальну чохломанію, слід визнати, що такі нюанси вже не мають такого великого значення, як у минулі роки. Ви, найімовірніше, просто запроторите смартфон у чохол, можливо, вже в момент купівлі ще в магазині.

Galaxy S21 FE може похвалитися дуже непоганим екраном. Тут претензій до Samsung немає і бути не може.

Екран справді флагманський.

6,4 дюйми, LTPO з частотою оновлення 120 Гц, 2340×1080 пікселів, прекрасне калібрування і відмінне перенесення кольорів, великий запас яскравості.

Екран плаский, без жодних викривлень, вигинів та інших модних витребеньок, та й рамки тонкі.

3 Продуктивність і камера

Galaxy S21 FE може похвалитися флагманськими рішеннями. Тут немає нічого надвидатного чи екзотичного, але Snapdragon 888 і ГБ оперативної пам’яті 6 ( або 8 у старшій конфігурації), а також накопичувач ємністю 128 або 256 ГБ — нині цілком нормально для флагманського апарата. І застаріє така конфігурація не скоро.

Із погляду швидкодії та продуктивності Galaxy S21 FE жодних питань не викликає. Тобто взагалі жодних. Як кажуть у народі, «все літає». Зокрема й найкрутіші ігри.

Камера складається із трьох модулів ( 12+12+8 МП), оптична стабілізація є лише з основному модулі. Знімки виходять дуже непогані. Особливо, коли світло хороше. Тут різниця з флагманами майже непомітна, хіба що інколи фото виходять більш « шумними». А ось за поганого освітлення й особливо вночі Galaxy S21 FE серйозно програє своїм старшим побратимам. І виглядає не надто виграшно на тлі деяких конкурентів за порівнянні гроші.

Тобто. Для хорошої камери купувати Galaxy S21 FE точно не варто. Краще купіть за порівнянні гроші Galaxy S21 або Galaxy S21 Plus.

Як завжди у Samsung ( у цьому місці замовкають навіть найзапекліші хейтери корейської компанії), тут багато всіляких додаткових фішок.

Акумулятор ємністю 4500 мА*год можна наповнювати за допомогою швидкої зарядки, є і бездротова ( 15 Вт, що на сьогодні вже, звичайно, не сильно вражає). Є й зворотна бездротова зарядка ( зручно, якщо у вас є бездротові навушники, смарт-годинник ).

Сканер відбитків пальців розташований під екраном у нижній його частині. І працює він добре. Щоправда, слід зауважити, що і тут у Galaxy S21 FE відчувається здешевлення, порівняно з реальними флагманами бренду. У серії Galaxy S21 встановлено ультразвуковий сенсор, але в Galaxy S21 FE оптичний датчик відбитків пальців. Різниця, як відомо, в точності та швидкості роботи, особливо, коли у вас мокрі пальці, або екран не ідеально чистий

Є захист від води за стандартом IP68. Для Samsung це вже давно стало нормою, у той час як багато навіть недешнвих « китайців», як і раніше, цього позбавлені.

5 Ціна та конкуренти

Коли восени 2020-го запускався Galaxy S20 FE з таким самим цінником, це був своєрідний прорив. Він був дешевшим за своїх попередників у флагманській лінійці Samsung, і досить виграшно виглядав на тлі конкурентів.
